Swords Open Golf Course
Swords Open Golf Course is an 18 hole parkland course on relatively flat terrain. The Broadmeadow river flows through the course and the naturally occurring water has been well used in the design of the course and the provision of strategically placed water hazards and features. We proudly hosted the Irish PGA Southern Championship 2007, 2008 & 2009. Our Course Superintendent, Colm McGuinness, and his staff keep the course in pristine condition all through the year. Much has been invested in drainage over the years and so Swords Open Golf Course is very playable all year round and is constantly complimented by regulars and guests.

The Lodge at the Ashford Castle Co. Mayo

Castleknock Hotel Co. Dublin
Castleknock Hotel is an award-winning 4-star hotel set in beautiful grounds, right on the doorstep of Dublin. We are just off the M50 on a direct route from Belfast and easily accessed via car from all over the country. In July 2020, Castleknock Hotel was awarded the Fáilte Ireland Safety Charter as well as being the first hotel in Ireland to receive the Hygiene Assured Mark.
Castleknock Hotel has a 18 hole Castleknock golf course which is on the grounds of the 4-star hotel measures 6,700 sq. yards from the blue tees and was designed by the golf course architect, Jonathan Gaunt. Recently named as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in Ireland it could be described as a modern golf course with large undulating greens. The green complexes allow for numerous and varied pin positions. All par 3 holes are guarded or prefaced by lakes increasing the challenge with large bale-out areas for golfers of all handicaps. Lakes come into play on seven holes. These are fully lined lakes with extensive recirculation systems to ensure that the water is always fresh and inviting to the player but hopefully not to the golf ball.

Woodstock Golf Club, founded in 1988, is situated in pleasant countryside on the outskirts of Ennis & is adjacent to the Hotel. The golf course features a tough opening hole, a loop of holes (6-8) around a lake that can spoil a card early and provides six excellent finishing holes. In between there are good scoring chances. This Clare Golf Club course is protected by several natural lakes, a river, and mature wooded areas. The river, natural lake & contours have been used to great effect to produce a test of skill for players of all levels.
