Nano Nagle Place
Douglas St, Cork, T12 X70A
Nano Nagle Place is an unexpected oasis in the centre of bustling Cork City, a place that celebrates Nano Nagle’s vision of empowerment through education, community inclusion and spiritual engagement for a contemporary world. The complex houses an award-winning museum, regenerated heritage buildings, walled gardens, a design shop & Cork focussed book shop, Nano Nagle’s Tomb and the wonderful Good Day Deli cafe. The beautifully restored convent buildings are home to several community education projects, The Lantern Community Project, and Cork Migrant Centre. Your visit to Nano Nagle Place helps support heritage, learning and education on our site.
Our award-winning museum tells the story of 18th Century Cork, Nano Nagle’s inspiring work and the lives and work of the Presentation Sisters over time, and today. Visitors can explore our museum at their own pace through a self-guided tour or take part in our daily 3pm guided tour where they are given special access to Nano’s Parlour and our Artefacts Room.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, come and discover Cork at Nano Nagle Place.
