Waterford, famous the world over the beauty and craftsmanship of its master glass cutters at the newly opened House of Waterford Crystal Centre located in the city centre.  This includes a factory tour where you see glass being blown, cut and engraved. The tour finishes in the show room / retail area which houses the largest collection of Waterford Crystal in the World. 


Enjoy the Viking Triangle Walking Tour in Irelands oldest city...1,000 years history in 1,000 places.  Recently opened in 2011 is the Bishops Palace - Museum of Modern Waterford 1700-2000.  Waterford also offers visitors a choice between a cosmopiltan vibrant city, charmind seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches and countryside getaway locations set against the backdrop of the Comeragh Mountains. 


From the charm of rural towns and villages like Dungarvan, Lismore, Cappoquinn and Ballymacarbry to the resort villages of Ardmore, Dunmore and Tramore there is something to appeal to all tastes.  With an excellent choice of world-class visitor attractions to enjoy including The Museum of Treasures and Edmund Rice Heritage Centre which are complemented by Jack Burtchaell Walking Tour all which tell the story of Waterford.  For families, the newly restored Waterford to Kilmeaden narrow gauge railway is a fabulous way to take in the sweep of the Suir Valley and to go back 450 million years you can take a tour of the spectacular Copper Coast UNESCO Geopark.
