Allergy to Nickel

Hi
Have always worn all sorts of jewellery before but now find that I am getting a rash and suspect that it may be a nickel allergy. Does anybody have any experience of this?

Hi Fiona
My daughter suddenly developed a nickel allergy though all her life she could wear any time of jewellery she liked. She was wearing a belt with a buckle and developed a very bad rash on her stomach. The Doc suspected it was a nickel allergy and referred her to a Consultant in the Blackrock Clinic. His diagnosis as a nickel allergy was correct and whatever cream he prescribed had it all cleared up within a couple of weeks.
Now she is careful about the jewellery she wears.
