Hi All, I Am not writing about any particular political party or issue, but just wanted to say arent the news bulletins on radio & tv these days so interesting. One never knows what you are going to hear next, and you are almost afraid to miss the news in case you miss something. We have had some very surprising revelations over the past few weeks and there is always some new issue to be debated. I find it so interesting and entertaining. Does anyone else agree?

I totally agree Martina
The past coupe of weeks have been sensational what with George Lee, Déirdre de Búrca and now Wilie O'Dea. It doesn't say much for politics though. At the end of the day I think everyone has their own self-interests at heart. Don't mean to sound cynical but that's how it looks. There is a lack of nobility and passion that I think leaves me cold when I look at our current rag bag of politicians.

Well Margaret, it is still going on, I have just heard of the resignation of Trevor Sargent. Where will it all end, or who will be next?. I have to say while I might not agree with all Trevor's policies I do think he is honest and genuine. Whereas de Burca obviously had only her self interests at heart. I am with you 100 per cent that the whole carry on does not say much for politics in this country, and it would serves us all much better if they got down to providing jobs for the thousands that are unemployed. Now that I've got that off my chest, I hope everyone is coping with the long hard winter we are having and that you are in good form today. Roll on the summer!!

What - Trevor Seargent is gone?! That must spell the end for the Greens surely. Haven't heard the news all day - that's sensational!

The latest healthcare story on unread x-rays in Tallaght Hospital just serves to highlight the complete inefficiency of our healthcare in Ireland. Mary Harney has been given the benefit of the doubt so many times. Isn't it clear that the whole thing is still a mess and that she has not succeeded in solving the problem.
