You might be interested in a company called vitalise who organise holidays for the disabled.
For example to allow blind people to enjoy travel they pair off say 10 blind people with 10 sighted people and they all go off on holiday as a party with the sighted people providing assistance to the others
During a 10 day holiday you, as a sighted person, could find yourself paired with a different visually impaired person each day.
Typical holidays offered include Nile Cruises, Ski-ing, Walking, Theatre, History etc
The visually impaired pay full price for the holiday but the sighted guides pay a discounted price typically 2/3 of the full price.
the website is www.vitalise.org.uk
