Hernia

I found out before Christmas that I have to have keyhole surgery for a hernia. Has anybody been through this? Is it minor and quick? Do the drugs work?

Hi Michael
I have had 2 hernia operations, the last one about 2 years ago. Not keyhole surgery however but a fairly minor operation and I was able to walk out of the hospital 5 hours later. Moderate pain but I had to take things easy for a few weeks.
