Recently returned from a 2 night stay in the Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford.  Really enjoyed the overall experience. Staff were very helpful and the food was fantastic. I find it quite hard to find a hotel which provides level-access showering etc but this was pretty good. I would advise disabled people to request a separate iron and hairdryer as the ones provided cannot be moved. We had a balcony room overlooking the Slaney which was delightful. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to help us. It is well known as a family friendly destination which can sometimes not appeal to seniors but we didn't find this to be a problem even though there were a large number of children at breakfast. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.
